For the customer GLS Croatia, we carried out extension work office buildings and works in the environment and on access roads, i.e. manipulative surfaces. The technology for carrying out work on the existing flat roof of the office building was extremely demanding, because in addition to the working platform that we had to provide for anchoring the existing reinforced concrete elements, installation of new reinforced concrete elements, assembly of the steel structure of the roof structure and the facade structure for the reception of facade “ sandwich” panels and other assembly/disassembly work on the flat roof, we also had to ensure the stability of the roof PVC insulation, that is, we had to prevent the penetration of the insulation and the potential leakage of rainwater into the office premises on the 1st floor. We ensured all of the above by applying the appropriate protective materials/elements, which were also the working platform for the execution of the works. It was particularly demanding to prevent the penetration of rainwater into the staircase core, with the simultaneous dismantling of the existing staircase roof, all due to the requirement of constructing new walls and ceiling panels of the staircase core.
